Join us for our March Membership Events! We are pleased to have Rick Kyte from Viterbo University join us for one of our monthly meetings! We hope you can attend, bring a guest or co-worker or a potential RAH member to this engaging and informative meeting! Rick will speak on “Citizenship, Service, and Social Capital: Keys to a Healthy Society. Richard Kyte is Director of the D. B. Reinhart Institute for Ethics in Leadership and Endowed Professor of Ethics at Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisconsin where he teaches a variety of courses dealing with ethical issues in business, health care, law, politics, and the environment. He has published and lectured widely on topics related to justice, forgiveness, virtue, and the meaning of life.

If I am Missing or Dead -
The Rotary Leadership Series is proud to present a true champion for a most important cause… Janine Latus. Author of the New York Times best seller, If I Am Missing or Dead: A Sister’s Story of Love, Murder and Liberation, Janine will share her personal stories and insights on the subject of sexual assault and domestic violence. Janine is a dynamic and engaging speaker on the spectrum of sexual assault and intimate partner violence. She has told her story to hundreds of audiences, from the United States military to universities, high schools and corporations, including Major League Baseball, and she leaves audiences haunted by her insights. She has helped shelters and social service agencies raise hundreds of thousands of dollars, has helped corporations create a safer environment by teaching them how to recognize the symptoms of abuse, and has served as part of a team intent on improving the climate within military structures. Janine uses her own heart-breaking story to illustrate the insidious signs of abuse, to help audience members recognize them in their own lives and in those of the people around them, to intervene or ask for help, to break free or help others to do so, and then to build a life of respect and freedom from fear. Her talks are part story, part strategy, based on the Duluth Power & Control Wheel and full of practical action items. But because they are built on a story, they resonate long after everyone has left the session room. Janine's presentation will be in person during the April 6 Rotary Club of La Crosse meeting. The presentaiton is open to members of any La Crosse Area Rotary club and their guests. If you can't attend in person, please join us via Zoom.

Join us for a night celebrating all the volunteer work that local area groups have done for Rotary Lights 2022! We will have Pat Stephens attending and many local organizations in attendace to receive thanks and appreciation for their efforts for this past years Rotary Lights success! We'll be at The Main - An Event Space from 5:30pm to 7pm on Tuesday, April 11th. Our program starts at 6pm and is free for first time guests; $10 cash/check or $10.50 credit card/paypal. Food will be provided. You may park on the surrounding streets, in nearby ramps, or in the State Bank parking lot. You can also join us via Zoom, just send us a message!

Rotary Club of La Crosse hosts Star Meetings for all area Rotarians. New Members are highly encouraged to attend, but all club members are welcome The STAR Committee meets for breakfast only six times during the year and you may receive a make-up for attending these sessions. We intend to provide programs on the Five Avenues of Service, The Rotary Foundation and the Rotary Works Foundation, Youth Programs, along with other aspects of Rotary.
RSVPs to attend can be made here, but are not required. STAR Meetings are currently in the Capella Performing Arts building, entering through door 'D' off 8th street. There is a sign with directions and a phone number if door is locked.
