Kassie is originally from Freedom, Wisconsin (a small town between Appleton and Green Bay, coincidentally also founding member Justin Garvey’s hometown) and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from UW-La Crosse. She now works as Fund Development Director at The Parenting Place. Kassie enjoys hiking, gardening, reading, and crafting. In the summer especially, you can find her in the yard much of the time, checking in on her and her husband’s plants and trees. Also, her grandma taught her to crochet when she was 10 and she has been coming back to it ever since. In fact, she is crochet instructor for people who want to learn the basics of crocheting! Kassie is excited to meet and spend time with people who want to make the community a better place. We think she has found the right group!
