We toured Haven on Main and now we'd like to help them out! They are setting up a great inclusive community, which includes a game room and library. To help them out, we are doing a Book & Game Drive to provide them with a starting inventory. To particpate in this event, just bring new or gently used games and books to our last meeting in September or either of the meetings in October. The service committee will collect the donations and arrange to get them to Haven on Main. |

Prost, RAHtarians! Our next Club Meeting is turning into RAHKtoberfest, and it’s your turn to help decide where our bartending earnings should flow. We’ll Tap the Keg, then Belly Up to the Bar to pour out your best ideas for how RAH could put those dollars to work.
Then you’ll get your own stash of Stein Stickers and decide which ideas deserve a pour. Go all-in on one or build yourself a flight. This is your chance to dream a little, think creatively and help shape how the dollars we earn behind the Oktoberfest bar can make an impact throughout the year. You won’t want to miss RAHKtoberfest. Bring your best ideas! Our meeting will be held at Coulee Arts at 422 Main Street. The meeting is from 6:00-7:00. Feel free to come around 5:30 for networking/social. Meeting fee is $10 cash/check/card/PayPal. Guests are free for their first meeting. Food will be served. You may park on the surrounding streets, in nearby ramps or in the State Bank parking lot. |

i RAH Foundation Committee, Apologies for the fairly short notice, but we are on the calendar for the Tuesday, November 13th club meeting, so it’s time to get together and start planning what we want to cover that night! Our Foundation Committee meeting will be Wednesday, October 14 from 7:00–8:00 p.m. (or earlier if we are efficient!) via Zoom (link at the bottom of this email). We have a full agenda to plan for November 13, including a handful of Paul Harris Fellow presentations, as well as honoring and recognizing our Paul Harris Society members. We’ll also need to do a brief kick off to Shark Tank that night to try and get the wheels turning and people excited. For the other Foundation content and making it fun and interactive, some initial thoughts are a Foundation Trivia competition or maybe even Foundation Family Feud? Open to any ideas! Come with any others you might have. Thanks so much for your help with all things RAH Foundation. I appreciate your time and willingness to help make the November Foundation meeting a great one! Thanks,

We're excited to reconnect with Gear Up, one of our past Shark Tank partners, to support the students they're working with this year. Gear Up is a local, non-profit that helps first generation students with financial need prepare for and succeed in their transition to college.
Join us at Java Vino @ 6pm on Oct. 22nd, as we assemble care packages and write encouraging notes for Gear Up students who are beginning the second half of their first semester of college. A few words of support can make a meaningful difference as they navigate this important milestone.
Gear Up will provide all care package items and shipping materials. This is a family-friendly event, so bring the whole family and lend a hand. While you're there, enjoy dinner, connect with Gear Up and fellow Rotarians, and help send some encouragement to local students working toward their goals! |
