One of the many traditions in Rotary is the passing of the gavel.
At Rotary After Hours, the gavel represents the leadership, service and dedication of those who have guided our club in years past, and the bright hope for what is to come.
As incoming pRAHsident Amy Schmidt begins her year leading RAH, several of our past presidents were there to pass the gavel and share a few words of advice, encouragement and support. Each handoff was a reminder that Amy is not stepping into this role alone. She is surrounded by a community of leaders who have served before her and believe in the work ahead.
This year, under the Rotary theme “Creating Lasting Impact,” we are excited to see Amy’s leadership, heart for service and vision help guide RAH into another meaningful year.
