How do I get back to Myrick Park?

Shuttle buses will run between Riverside Park and Myrick Park from 3:00 to 6:45 p.m. on race day. You can park at either location.

Do I receive anything with my registration?

Yes! Each registrant will receive:
🎁 An Ugly Sweater 5K gift
☕ A free hot chocolate

These items will be handed out at the end of the race.
Participating virtually? We’ll mail your goodies to you!

The course covers 5 kilometers (3.1 miles).

Are there donations to charity?

Yes! Event proceeds support local and international programs.

You’re also welcome to make an additional donation through the Rotary Club of La Crosse – After Hours website.

More information about our charitable efforts.

Can my kids run?

Absolutely! Children under 10 run for free with a canned food donation. Please bring your item to packet pickup — all donations go to Rotary Lights food drive.

If you’re running with a stroller, please start at the back of the group for safety reasons.

Can I pick up someone else’s race packet?

Yes, as long as the racer has registered online and the waiver has been acknowledged by the participant or guardian, you may pick up their packet.

Will there be any contests?

Of course! What’s a theme run without some ridiculous competitions?

In addition to the race awards, we’ll crown winners for the Best Ugly Sweater (youth and adult)— so raid that closet and bring your festive best!

What should I bring?

Bring water if you’d like — though water, hot chocolate and other goodies will be available at the finish line.

Don’t forget to wear your ugliest sweater, rock that Santa beard, and bring your holiday cheer! 🎄

Can I bring my dog?

For everyone’s safety, we discourage bringing dogs to this event.
