Passport not required for this trip around the world! 🌍

The Rotary Youth Exchange (RYE) Cultural event gave us a taste of Italy, Argentina, Colombia, and New Zealand, all in one night!

🇮🇹 Giorgia and Chef Mitchel (Sagra, Osteria Emilia & Uno Venti) created her Nonna’s Casoncelli alla Bergamasca, a cherished family pasta recipe, while 🇦🇷 Pedro teamed up with Chef Josh Miner (Wisconsin Grass-Fed Beef Cooperative) to share Guiso de Carne y Fideos, a yummy stew that brought a taste of Argentina to La Crosse.
We also enjoyed bonus bites from 🇨🇴 Colombia (by Chef Michael Gasper from Holmen School District) and 🇳🇿 New Zealand (by Chef Tim Ewers, Le Chateau). Many thanks to our chefs for your partnerships and bringing the recipes to life!

And the best part (besides the food of course) - hearing each student share about life back home, their family traditions, school experiences, and what they’ve come to love about life here in Wisconsin.

Nights like this remind us that food, laughter, and friendship have a way of bringing the world a little closer together. Thanks to Rotary Youth Exchange for making it happen!
