Meet our 2026-27 Rotary After Hours President, Amy Schmidt!
Amy is a proud La Crosse native, a generational Rotarian and someone who embodies this year's Rotary theme: Create Lasting Impact.
She earned her master's degree in Clinical Social Work and serves as a Clinical Coordinator at Monroe County Human Services, supporting community-based mental health programs for adults and adolescents.
Amy enjoys her twice-daily coffee, gardening, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. As a self-proclaimed extrovert, she loves a good party.
Amy originally joined RAH because, as she puts it, her Rotarian mom was "a bit pushy." But after returning to La Crosse following college, she was looking for ways to connect with the community and build new friendships. She quickly discovered that RAH had become her "third place," a place that challenges her to grow as a leader, keeps her connected to service and surrounds her with people who encourage her to be her best.
As president, Amy is looking forward to working with the club to launch new projects, grow our membership and celebrate the people who make Rotary After Hours such a special club .
We are looking forward to all the great things we'll do this year under Amy's leadership. Join us as she leads her first meeting as pRAHsident! 💛
