'It's better to give than to receive.'
We experienced the joy of paying it forward thanks to an opportunity with Beer By Bike Brigade Bingo where we received $500 for volunteering and a generous ($500) new membership grant from Rotary District 6250. 
We shopped till we dropped, filling our carts with $1001.24 worth of snacks and food items! 
At a meeting in March, members chose New Horizons to be the beneficiary of our volunteer/grant money. The goodies we purchased are heading to the center, a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting women and children escaping domestic abuse. Feeling grateful and inspired!
