A bittersweet day.
Nevyn is on his way home to Switzerland after an unforgettable year abroad. 
From Friday night lights on the football field and basketball courts, to earning Athlete of the Year in track, soaking up the sun in Florida and Texas, growing as a leader at RYLA, and adventuring out west with his fellow YE students, Nevyn embraced the magic of his year in the United States 
and made every moment count. We are so proud of him!

Many friends showed up at the airport this morning to say goodbye, a testament to the kind, fun, and unforgettable person he is.
We’re forever grateful to the Rathke and Court families for welcoming Nevyn into their homes and hearts as if he was their own. Rotary Youth Exchange doesn’t work without extraordinary families like these. Thank you, Josh, Mindy, Pearl, Cam, Dani, Erich, and your extended families, for loving Nevyn like your own.
Nevyn, we miss you already! We know you’ll carry this year with you always - just as we’ll carry the joy and magic you brought into our lives. We can’t wait for the day you return to visit us in Wisconsin.
