Thanks to hundreds of dedicated runners and volunteers, the 2019 Ugly Sweater 5k continued a cheerful tradition.
Runners lined up on an above-average December afternoon in their finest festive gear for the 2019 Ugly Sweater 5k. Racing (or simply enjoying) the lighted trail through the marsh from Myrick Park to Riverside Park's Rotary Lights, the 475 participants helped raise about $16,000 to support Rotary After Hours local and international service."We wouldn't be successful without RAH members' help - everything from sponsorship asks to spreading the word to volunteering," said the event's chair, Ashley Santolin. "Thank you for all that you do!"
