Join us Saturday, December 7, 2024 for The 18th Annual Ugly Sweater 5k!
This year, the Ugly Sweater 5k is presented by Coulee Bicycle Co.
The Ugly Sweater 5K is not just a race; it's an experience.
It is a family-friendly festive, holiday-themed event in La Crosse, as well as a competitive race for those looking for one.
Participants will traverse beautifully lit paved trails, starting from Myrick Park at 4:15 p.m. and culminating at the Riverside Park Rotary Lights display, featuring over three million dazzling holiday lights. After the run/walk, participants can join in the fun with our ugly sweater contest, live music, and refreshments.
A post-race award ceremony is held in the Ice Castle (heated tent) at Rotary Lights with hot chocolate, music and tasty treats for participants, family, and friends.

****************************************************************** The Ugly Sweater 5k is the primary fundraiser for the Rotary of La Crosse-After Hours Club (RAH). As a proud part of Rotary International, our club is dedicated to supporting local and international community service projects. One of our recent local initiatives involved providing funding for the purchase of a greenhouse at Northside Elementary in La Crosse. Our club plans to volunteer our time and effort when the greenhouse arrives to help build it. Additionally, we've been actively involved in serving food for Monday Meals at Trinity Lutheran Church, volunteering at local events, and delivering food for Mobile Meals. We are also committed to contributing to Rotary International's mission to eradicate polio worldwide. These are just a few highlights showcasing the vibrancy of our club's activities.

Join us to celebrate the holiday season with a Jingle Bell RAHk Christmas Party! Wear your ugly sweater or a festive holiday outfit! Please bring a dessert or cookie to share and exchange in our cookie exchange event. Last year, we had many awesome club member bakers- can't wait to try them all! We will have appetizers, beverages, and games. A special guest will also make an apperance. Feel free to bring your kids to join in on the fun! Happy Holidays from Rotary After Hours!
Meeting is from 6-7pm. Come early and socialize!
The Main, 422 Main Street, La Crosse. Food will be served.

The Bells are Ringing!! Come join us for our annual Bell Ringing service event and help raise funds for the La Crosse County Salvation Army! Salvation Army Bell Ringers are an icon of the Christmas season. Spread some cheer, sing, play music or just have some fun with fellow RAH members. We will be ringing bells in the entry of Blain's Farm & Fleet, in Onalaska on Wednesday, December 18th from 6 - 8pm. Hope to see you there!! |

Who doesn't love a fire pit and roasted marshmellows!?!? Help support Rotary Lights for our shift at the Rotary Lights S'more Fire Pit! We will be working the S'more Fire Pit on Sunday, December 22nd, from 5:30 - 8:30 pm. The Fire Pit is located in Riverside park, behind the bandshell. We hope to see you there!! |
