They had flown the Cessna T210M craft all the way aroun d the world. Throughout the entire trip\, the pilots raised awareness for polio eradication\, raised funds for Rotary's End Polio efforts\, and even administered some vaccines to children in need. Both Peter and John are p ilots\, Rotarians\, and members of the Fellowship of Flying Rotarians. Pol io eradication has been a primary focus of Rotary for over 35 years and co ntinues to be a major initiative. While the end of polio may be near\, no child anywhere is safe until every child has been vaccinated. Peter and Jo hn were featured speakers at the Rotary International Convention 2024 in S ingapore. We are super fortunate to welcome them as they fly up to La Cros se and speak to us about their incredible mission. Meeting is from 6-7pm. Come early and socialize!
