Thanksgiving is right around the corner, so it’s only fitting that we spotlight an ingredient found at most of our Turkey day feasts... the cranberry!

Cranberries were very likely served at the first Thanksgiving in 1621. They’re one of a few fruits native to North America, and were a staple for Native Americans, who would mash them up and use them for food, clothing dye and medicine.

Get ready for another hands on view of the world of cranberries right from your own house! Katelyn and Marissa will be up to their waders hosting this meeting live from the cranberry bogs with local farmers, Carly and Diane Bosshard.

Join us and learn more about the state fruit of WI via Zoom, Tuesday, October 6th from 6-7pm.
PLEASE NOTE THE MEETING DATE CHANGE. To capture harvesting week in the bogs, WE WILL BE MEETING 10/6- THE 1ST TUESDAY (INSTEAD OF OUR REGULARLY SCHEDULED 2ND TUESDAY OF THE MONTH).

Virtual social hours begins around 5:30pm. Meeting starts at 6pm.
Please email us if you'd like the Zoom link to join! We'd love to have you.
